Dr. Thomas Bühler completed his undergraduate and graduate university studies in Business Administration in Nuremberg earning a Ph.D.. Thereafter, he worked as a strategy consultant for the management consultancy Bain & Company in Munich and London. Dr. Bühler has been working in the investment business in Germany since 1989, at first at IMM Industrie Management München GmbH and, after the latter's takeover, as a member of the board of the publicly listed TA Triumph-Adler AG. For many years, Dr. Bühler was in charge of the acquisition of companies as well as of various industry concepts for IMM and Triumph-Adler. Early on in the year 2000, Dr. Bühler became self-employed when he founded AFINUM Management GmbH. Since then, he has been a managing director of AFINUM Management GmbH and a Managing Director of various AFINUM funds.
